The Forecast for our day was terrible.
However that was not so, a cool wind, but fine.
We met at Baxter Tavern car park.

When all participating members and Warragul Restorers
members arrived we set off through Baxter to Mooraduc
Road arriving at Portsea about 10.30 am.

After looking around the Information Centre and
collecting our tickets we drove to Gunner’s Cottage
car park. We had morning tea before riding on the
tractor trains to the Fort at Point Nepean which was
very interesting exploring the gun sites and tunnels.
The tractor trains returned us to the car park to have
lunch.

We then drove to the Quarantine Station where we had
a very informative tour with our guide Mr Bob Johnston
who had worked at the Station.

Everyone made their own way home after a very good day.
Thanks to Sam and Myra for organising the day.
